Latest Dubai Holiday Policy 2025

There has been a recent announcement by the UAE Cabinet Resolution No. 27 of 2024 stating that there will be a shift in announcing public holidays from next year. For instance, if a holiday falls on a weekend, then the UAE Cabinet can shift the holiday to any weekday. This resolution will help Dubai residents enjoy an extra day off. However, it will not include the leaves of:

  • Eid Al Adha
  • Eid Al Fitr 

This resolution has been effective since 1 January 2025. 

List of UAE Public Holidays UAE 

January 1, 2025 (New Year, Wednesday)
